Chumphon

The province of Chumphon has more than 200 kilometers of coastline featuring many desolate and beautiful beaches offering excellent opportunities for diving and snorkeling. Because of the general lack of tourists Chumphon is ideal for those who want a beach holiday without the usual touristy hustle and bustle. The city of Chumphon is used as the gateway to islands and provinces further south especially Koh Tao.

Accommodation

Not known as a tourist resort the accommodation on offer are predominantly guesthouses and 2 or 3 star hotels. As there is little demand rooms are always available without the need to book ahead.
